Father Time impatient
Booms and Bangs explode
In bursts the New Year.
This morning a cartoon by Margulies, editorial cartoonist for a New Jersey paper,
appeared on the editorial page of our local paper.
It showed Father time upset at the late arrival of 2014 who is explaining he was delivered by UPS.

A perfect excuse for being late with the making of my New Years resolutions.
UPS has come through once again!

But having suffered so many broken resolutions in the past, this year I am making none.
Better to hope than to resolve and better a will try than a promise broken.

I hope this will be a year to reorganize, prioritize, and let the excess go.
And I will try not to feel the guilt that comes when I must refuse and tell you 'No'.
